Hi Jeremy! This is my first time posting on your blog. I will hopefully comment on more of your posts as time lends itself for me to do so.
The article by Barry Rubin should come as no surprise to Americans who are conscious of the president's bigotry towards Jews and Christians. As I understand from just having enough time to strictly read the title of an article, the Syrian rebels who are allies of al-Qaeda killed an entire village of Christians, and yet I have not heard one major media outlet other than Fox News report on this act of ethnic cleansing. The fact that President Obama and majority of the Democrats are promulgating their support of this terrorist group -- and let us not kid ourselves, they are, indeed, terrorists -- but are referring to them in the politically-correct term as "freedom fighters" constitutes a extreme breach in the interest of our national security. Furthermore, NATO is stating that the U.S. should handle this issue "politically," or in such a way as to suggest that we strongly consider involving ourselves militarily in yet another war in the Middle East.
Sadly, Sen. John McCain, a cornerstone within today's GOP, is supporting the president's initiatives by traveling to Syria to meet with the rebels under secure conditions DESPITE the objections of the general public domestically. This, in the wake of three scandals and possibly as many as two others pending -- the EPA's targeting of conservatives and the topic of the article authored by Mr. Rubin -- seems to me to be yet another act political stupidity and suicide by party members when it essentially has the 2014 midterm congressional elections wrapped to gain an even larger majority in the House and a majority in the Senate.
I would be interested in studying the two presidential campaign finance sheets of Obama's. I have no doubt that he was quite heavily funded by the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamic Society of North America, among others. The Left in America like to accuse members of the Right of promoting bigotry toward Muslims and the religion of Islam itself, but can one really blame us for attempting to curtail their influence on our society and political infrastructure as much as possible when all but one of the terrorist attacks conducted against us over the past 20 years (the Oklahoma City Bombing is the exception) have been carried out by Islamic fundamentalists? Let us not forget the 1979 Iran Hostage Crisis or the bombing of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon in 1983.
I am truly concerned about the direction in which America is headed. President George W. Bush was accused of being a "war monger" like his father and President Reagan, but historically since the beginning of the Progressive politicians infiltrating and thus creating the modern Democratic Party we see today, the Democratic presidents have been responsible for all four major wars during the 20th Century (World War I, World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War). The same party who supported and embraced its Communist Party constituents during the mid-20th Century are now supporting the newest major threat to U.S. national security and sovereignty -- Islam terrorism.
(And on the point of supporting and even embracing members of the Communist Party of the USA, Obama's Chief Senior Adviser is an Iranian woman named Valerie Jarrett, whose father was a card-carrying members of the Communist Party of the USA, and she, as well, is a Communist sympathizer.)
And all of this is because of our president who was born in Kenya and raised as a Muslim.
