How This Conservative Sees America

The picture above tells the real american story of life after Obama being elected president.  It is a true story and the source is accurate.  They say a picture says a thousand words.  That picture above says more than a thousand words.  It tells a accurate and complete story of how the direction of a country under the wrong leadership and poor vision can ruin a nation.  This is certainly true for america right now under Obama.  

Since Obama's re-election I have witnessed Stocks Crashing, British investor and economist Jeremy Grantham is regarded as a highly knowledgeable investor in various stock, bond, and commodity markets, and is particularly noted for his prediction of various bubbles. He has recently released his forecast for America’s economic future. According to Grantham’s report, the once normal annual GDP rate of growth of 3% “is gone forever.”, 50 CHARTS THAT EXPLAIN WHY ‘DR. DOOM’ THINKS WE’RE HEADED TOWARD ‘MASSIVE WEALTH DESTRUCTION’, Experts are warning us to prepare for massive tax hikes in 2013, Hostess Brands had to close due to labor union demands, Employers are having to slim down their staffs and decrease the amount of full time employees to escape the Obamacare Mandate,  the only area Obama, the democrats and the mainstream media are comfortable cutting anything from is from medical benefits for active, retired military but not union workers, The Affordable Care Act, aka ObamaCare forces all Americans to buy a health insurance plan deemed “qualified” by the Department of Health and Human Services.  The HHS bureaucracy will decide what your insurance will include. You don’t get to choose. The old slogan that if you liked your health insurance you could keep it was suckers bait and is “no longer operative.”  If you don’t buy the insurance Washington tells you that you have to pay a tax penalty ranging from $695 to $2085 or higher depending on the size of your family.  The dollar amount will grow over time.

So the IRS form will require that you certify that you had Uncle Sam-mandated insurance each and every month of the year. You will have to disclose your personal identifying health ID number, the nature of the insurance and any information from your health insurance card the IRS regulations demand in the future.

As if the above information is not bad enough.  I do have more information to tell you about.  

I have never seen a nation so divided in my lifetime.  Certainly not under any of the previous presidents I lived under.  I have seen with my own eyes greatness in presidents like Ronald Wilson Reagan and horrible failures like Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.  Why do I consider these two democrat presidents as failures despite having both being elected to two terms?  Easy.  The results they achieved and their popularity or legacy established from their direct impact on america through their principles and hard work.  America was not divided and plagued with what it is now.  Not even close.  Not by a long shot.  

There has never been nationalized, organized political movements like the conservative tea party movement and the anti wall street occupy movement.  Why not?  There was never the need like there is now.  

I place all the blame directly and squarely at the feet of Obama, the democrat leadership in congress and the mainstream media for what america is becoming and why america is the way it is right now.

The priorities are all wrong.  It feels like whatever was right is now wrong and anything that was up is now down.  I am not the only one who feels like this or thinks this way.  There are many who look and see the same news that I do and are disgusted just the same as I am.  

Here are some more issues that america is going in the wrong direction on under horrible leadership and media bias:  Illegal immigration where over 400,000 illegal aliens in CA are beginning to receive unemployment checks & other government assistance, 526,421 family farms threatened by new death tax, 73% of new jobs are created in government (not in private sector or small businesses), Starting on February 1, 2013, America will have a new legal class of aliens — they will be undocumentedpermanent resident aliens.

This bizarre new category of immigrant was created by a notice in the December 14 Federal Register by order of United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), a part of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)., Housing prices continue to fall for the second straight year, 10 Worst Regulations from 2012 now being enforced from Obama being re-elected, food stamp rolls increased by over 607,000 in September to 47.71 million, yet another all-time record, Over 100 Million People in U.S. Now Receiving Some Form Of Federal Welfare, and now I hear that Obama is moving to steal our pension plans or at least tax it to increase revenue for the government! 

Conservatives like me are sick and tired of waking up to more and more bad news.  It seems like our freedom and liberty protected by the constitution is being attacked every day by this president, democrats and the mainstream media.  I don't pretend to be perfect or have all of the answers.  I do hope this blog post is successful at informing some who may not have known about some of the things I talked about in this blog.  There are still some bright lights in america.  We still have conservative leaders in congress like Michele Bachmann, David Schweikert, Frank Wolf, Justin Amash, Louie Gohmert, Steve King, Tom Price, Tim Huelskamp, Trent Franks, Jim Jordan and I haven't completely written off Paul Ryan yet.  Not yet.  we still have conservative leaders in the senate like Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, Deb Fischer, Tim Scott, Ron Johnson, Pat Toomey and I still have some faith in Tom Coburn.  Some.  Not a whole lot.  We still have some great conservative leaders  as governors like Scott Walker, Mike Pence, Susana Martinez, Jan Brewer, Bobby Jindal, John Kasich and Nikki Haley.  Honorable mention still goes to conservative patriots like Sarah Palin, Allen West and Jim DeMint who continue to step up and speak out for conservative principles on the major issues of the day.  Conservative authors are still best selling authors and conservative talk radio show hosts like Rush Limbaugh,  Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham and Monica Crowley are still enjoying record high ratings.

Conservatives across america are living in dark days today but we still have leaders with passion willing to fight and stand on our principles.  I encourage you to stand with these conservative patriots and others I may have left out or failed to mention.   They need our support now more than ever.  I also want to urge every conservative patriot to continue to do what they can to spread our message of hope, free market, civil society, private property rights, the constitution, personal responsibility, limited government and low taxes to anyone and everyone as often as we can over the next four years.  No question that we are up against a daunting task and the deck is stacked against us but our principles and country needs us to ban together to keep our country together.  What would america look like without conservatives?   What would the world look like without conservative americans?  Think about those two questions for awhile.  It won't be pretty.  Conservative Patriotic Americans are not only America's Last Best Hope for Peace, Freedom and Liberty but the World's last best hope also.  Our best days are ahead of us but we must fight through this to get there.  Thank You and God Bless You.

Obamacare is Destroying America

I wrote a blog about this back on Janurary 23,2011 Entitled: Obamacare Is A Bad Bill and Wrong For America.  In that blog, I did my best to sound the alarm and warn my fellow Americans about how bad of a bill Obamacare really was.  Unfortunately, almost 51% of Americans either didn't read it, don't care or think they won't be effected by it.  They're wrong.  Here is what we do know now after the 2012 election about Obamacare.  The latest RealClearPolitics Poll (as of 11/4/12) about Americans Who Favor or Oppose Repeal of Obamacare.  That Poll is suggesting that even with a slight 5.4% improvement since the last poll, Most Americans still do not favor Obamacare.  With 47.8 Against it and only 42.4% favoring it.  This improving trend will end once the effects of Obamacare are felt not just feared.  Some have starting feeling these effects already.  The overall lasting effects will effect everyone.  Rich, poor, tall, short, white, black, male, female, gay, straight, christian, jew, catholic, muslim, republican, democrat, independent, libertarian, undecided and everyone else.  Just ask the list of companies that have annouced layoffs or closings since Obama won second term.  Ask them about the intial effects of Obamacare.  Ask their families and friends how they feel about Obamacare now. This list of layoffs from Obamacare is extensive, well documented and easily researchable. 
That is just the beginning.  The effects Obamacare will have on every American will get worse before it gets any anything else.  As of October 1st of 2012, Hospitals who re-admit patients within 30 days after they were discharged will now have to, under an Obamacare provision, pay fines as of October 1, 2012, which could force hospitals to slash programs that help the elderly, the poor, and the chronically ill.  As Reported by Breitbart, Washington Post and the Examiner just to name a few credible sources. 
According to a study, "about two-thirds of the hospitals serving Medicare patients, or some 2,200 facilities, will be hit with penalties averaging around $125,000 per facility this coming year."
This provision was inserted into Obamacare as a cost-cutting measure, but it will force hospitals to give the poor, elderly, and chronically ill substandard care.
In addition, critics also note that "large teaching hospitals that are affiliated with universities" could be negatively impacted the most because these hospitals are often on the front lines in dealing with the elderly and the poor in addition to people who have mysterious illnesses who constantly need to be re-admitted to the hospital for urgent care.

As if the Layoffs and Penalties averaging around $125,000 per facility this coming year is not bad enough.  I am really just getting started in this blog to open your eyes and reveal just how bad Obamacare is for everyone in America regardless of who you are or who you voted for in 2012.

Over 171,000 Retirees are likely to lose Tricare Prime now that Obamacare is as Speaker of the House of Congress likes to say "The Law of the Land"  How brave is he?  I'd argue that Mr. Boehner may be a very nice man, however, he is not a brave man or smart at all.  Quite the opposite actually.

When The new regulations from Obamacare start going into effect, Mr. Boehner will be running and hiding from his weakness and cowardice about Obamacare after Obama won re-election.  60 of 91 health care law provisions are currently in effect.  Five taxes enacted as part of health care law take effect Janurary 1st, 2013 totaling $36 billion in 2013.  Obamacare has 20 new or increased taxes on U.S. families & small businesses.  CBO estimates over 20 million people still will not be insured after Obamacare goes into effect.  Experts say Obamacare will cost more.   Study: U.S. Faces 52K Doctor Shortage by 2025; Obamacare, Immigration* Contributing Factors.  Study Says "

Aging adults and the expansion of healthcare coverage under the Affordable Care Act will contribute to a lesser extent, the study found.
Researchers predicted that the U.S. population will increase 15.2 percent by 2025, necessitating about 33,000 more physicians.
Aging adults will create the need for an additional 10,000 physicians in that period, while the Affordable Care Act will require about 8,000 more.
*Immigration is inferred. The birth rate for the United State was 1.89 children per woman in 2011, which is well below the replacement rate of 2.1."

John Mertz, who "runs approximately 40 Denny's and owns the Hurricane Grill & Wings franchise" says he is planning on charging customers a 5% Obamacare Surcharge to pass the cost of Obamacare on the customer.

The force of the government to tell insurance providers they have to cover pre-existing conditions will only aggravate the problem, for it will increase the costs to everyone in the system. That is how they make up the difference to cover it. You can bet your bottom dollar the feds will not allow the insurance companies to really stick it to those with pre-existing conditions. No, in the world of Obama, it’s the communist ideology that the rest of us will have to bear the burden of some of that additional cost.
That cost has many governors are taking a stand refusing to get on board or cooperate with Obamacare by not creating their own health care exchanges to administer Obamacare or let the federal government do it.

So far, only 17 states have told the White House they plan to move ahead with their own programs. Eight governors have already rejected state plans or decided to work with Washington in creating hybrid state-federal exchanges.  States like Texas, South Carolina, Alabama, Montana, Wyoming, Ohio, Florida and South Dakota have all voted to Nullify Obamacare in their states so far.  Making America more divided than before the 2012 elections.  There are 30 Republican Governors across America who could and SHOULD stand firmly to their 10th Amendment right to protect their states from the costs, regulations, taxes and overall burdens that Obamacare will place on all of the people within their states.  That is their job and duty to do what is in their state's best interests.  This is still America.  In America, we still have this option and protection granted by our founders through the constitution. 

I think I will take this time to remind some of you reading this who think or feel that Obamacare is the "Law of the Land" and Should be treated as such.  The Supreme Court did find it Constitutional and a "Tax".  Only 5 of the 9 Supreme Court Justices Approved of Obamacare as a "Tax".  There were still 4 Supreme Court Justices who absolutely rejected that argument and Dissented Against it.  More Proof and Evidence over how divided America is right now.  Another great example as to why we can't leave any more important issues like this up to the federal government to decide.  The federal government has been failing to step up and do the right thing for Americans for awhile now.  It's just been one dishearteding after another after another.  It is time for patriots of this country to get creative and find other ways to fight tyranny here in America.

I don't know what creative way patriots will find to fight against this federal tyranny we're facing but I do know we'll continue to fight, battle and combat tyranny until our last dying breathe.  It is who we are and what we've always done.  Americans have a proud history of stepping up and doing the right thing when push came to shove.  America overcame slavery, women's right to vote, civil war, two world wars and many other wars after that.  Americans rise to challenges.  I have all of the confidence in the world, Americans will rise again to meet this challenge of Obamacare.

During the International Franchise Association convention in Washington, D.C., in September, franchisers learned just how hard Obamacare would hit them. David Barr, a Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken franchiser, told the group how Obamacare will cut his profits and probably theirs as well — in half. Their only choice is to slash employee hours so they aren’t eligible for company-paid health insurance or stop offering insurance and pay the $2,000 per employee fine.
Barr has 23 stores with 421 employees, 109 of whom are full-time. Of those, he provides health insurance to 30. His total cost is $129,000 per year and his employees pay $995. Under Obamacare, he’ll have to provide health insurance for all 109 full-time employees at a cost of $444,000 per year. The $315,000 increase is more than half his annual profit, after expenses. If he chose the fine instead, his healthcare costs would still increase by $89,000 per year.
Darden Foods, the world’s largest casual dining company — it includes Olive Garden, Red Lobster and LongHorn Steakhouse — was one of the first to announce it would be limiting worker hours to avoid healthcare requirements. Papa John’s CEO John Schnatter said the cost of his pizzas will rise between 11 and 14 cents and worker hours will be reduced. He expects the law to cost his company between $5 million and $8 million annually.
In July, McDonalds Chief Financial Officer Peter Benson said Obamacare will cost his company $420 million in new healthcare costs even though the company received a waiver from the Administration of Barack Obama. His menu prices will increase as a result.
Florida-based restaurant owner John Metz, who owns 40 Denny’s restaurants and the Hurricane Grill & Wings franchise, said last week he would be tacking a 5 percent Obamacare surcharge on his meals and reduce employee hours. He says it is “the only alternative. I’ve got to pass the cost to the customer.”
Look for other restaurants faced with a choice of becoming unprofitable by absorbing the costs or uncompetitive by raising their menu prices if they insure their employees and pass the cost to consumers to also cut worker hours.
Wal-Mart recently raised its health insurance premiums as much as 36 percent, putting coverage out of the reach of many of its employees. Its executives say employee hours will be cut. Likewise, the Kroger grocery chain is also reducing employee hours.

According to Page 113, Line 22, Obamacare DOES EXEMPT the President, Senators, Congressmen and their famlies.  As well as Unions, Muslims and 825 Democrat Donors to Obama's Political Campaign.  Is that fair?  Does that make any kind of sense to anyone?

The government will stop paying for your health care at some point; the only question is when.

In 1981, President Ronald Reagan Championed the Passage of the Economic Recovery Tax Act (The Kemp-Roth Bill). It Cut individual Federal Income Tax Brackets by 25 percent, Phased Over Three Years, and Indexed the Rates against Inflation to Prevent Creeping Bracket Increases in Future Years. The Act also Instituted the Accelerated Cost Recovery System and a 10 Percent Investment Tax Credit, which led to a Substantial Increase in Capital Formation. The Goal was to Create Incentives by Removing Significant Government Barriers to Investment, Productivity, and Growth. The Result: Inflation Dropped from 13.5 percent in 1980 to 4.1 percent in 1988. In The Free Market, A Man Born into Wealth or who has otherwise acquired Great Riches can lose his fortune depending on how he chooses to behave. Conversely, a Man Born into Poverty or who has lost wealth once obtained can acquire a fortune, depending, again, on how he chooses to behave. When the individual or even a large business makes a wrong decision, its impact is limited and more easily absorbed by the free market. However, when the Statist makes a wrong decision, its impact is far-reaching, for he uses the power of government to impose his decision on as many individuals and businesses as possible, which distorts the free market itself.

is STOP with all of the Bailouts, Stimulus, Omnibus, TARP Etc. and give the Money back to the PEOPLE to Empower US to make Better Decisions with OUR OWN MONEY like WE DID Once before back in the Eighties from the Economic Recovery Tax Act, the Accelerated Cost Recovery System, and the Investment Tax Credit. America Should have Learned a Lessons from it's Own History when facing Economic Downturns of this Magnitude. This is NOT a first time America has faced times like this and Probably NOT the Last time either. How we faced it back in the early Eighties and how we are Facing it NOW is TOTALLY DIFFERENT. Obama and the Current Democratic Leaders in Washington are CHOOSING to follow closer to FDR's Recovery Model than Reagan's. Which is Sad and Tragic for Americans NOW living in America. It is OBVIOUS to ANYONE Who Lived and Survived the Early Eighties and SHOULD Know Better Fared FAR GREATER than those Who Suffered through and Survived the Prolonged Great Depression Era under FDR's Leadership. I am NO Genius or Rocket Scientist but MY GUESS and MY OPINION would be that if You Asked the People Who Survived through Rough Times in American History, Over 95% of them Would Favor President Reagan's Vision/Plan to Economic Recovery as opposed to FDR's or Obama's. After Seeing that Chart and Reading ALL of the Above Evidence/Proof, it would be HARD (not impossible) to argue that Obama and the Current Democratic Majority in Washington doesn't have a Positive Model/Blueprint for Positive Results on HOW TO TURN AROUND THIS CURRENT ECONOMIC DOWNTURN AMERICA IS IN!!!! The Evidence/Proof is in the Facts. The Proof/Evidence has been Proven in Our History!! (not even more than 25 years ago)It's time Obama Stops looking to the past pointing blame at Bush and start giving America what they Voted him into office to do.
